Steve Clark Wins Round 5 of the NISA Feeders King of the Yare Series & Open Match 16th July with biggest bag of Roach so far this season

With reports of bream topping on the whole match length during the last seven days 60 anglers turned up. there was anticipation that the bream and skimmers may get their heads down for the first time this season, but it was not to be. However the roach did not disappoint for some.

Steve Clark notched up his second win of the series fishing float tactics on the renowned bream on feeder peg 61 on the Boards with an excellent weight of 25lbs 12oz of roach.

Bob Nudd fished similar tactics on peg 82 in the Jungle for second with yet another fine net of roach weighing 16lbs 1oz

Close behind in third with 15lbs 9oz of roach was Rob Houlding from peg 95.

Fourth was Karl Redgrave who fished the feeder all day for a mixed bag for 11lbs 13oz from peg 144 right of Langley Pump.

Ian Bailey managed 10lbs 14oz on the feeder for fifth from peg 101 on Sluice Bend while we had a tie for 6th with Steve Kindleyside (peg 65) and Rod Finch (peg 71) unseparable with 10lbs 4oz.
