Roach dominated in what was another close match, more roach are showing in some areas from the previous week which suited four times world champion Bob Nudd down to the ground. Fresh off the plane from a family holiday in Florida, Bob drew the longest walk on the match length. Pegged at 167 in front of Langley Wood Bob fished the feeder for the first half an hour and then changed to his favourite method of pole fishing for roach. He landed 137 roach and perch for a winning weight of 14lbs 2oz.

Runner up was Richard Martin on peg 99 with another roach net weighing 11lbs 10oz

In third place with 10lbs 7oz was Billy Hughes from peg 67 ahead of fourth placed Dave Pike with 9lbs 12oz from peg 69.

Ian Asplen weighed 9lbs 1oz from peg 63 just three ounces ahead of Eddie Hall with 8lbs 14oz from peg 162
