Preston Innovations Feedermasters Qualifier River Yare 26 June

by | Jun 27, 2022 | 0 comments

A very moody River Yare with strong East winds threw up some big challenges for the anglers this year.

Dealing best with the harder conditions on his first visit to the River and making his debut in the final is none other than 5x World Champ Alan Scotthorne.

Alan fished for roach all day to take the qualifying place with 8lb.

Following Alan was another first time finalist in Browning Hotrods Stuart Northrop.

A great angler who excels on the Yare, Stuart booked his place in a very tough zone with 5lb 8oz.

Returning for a 2nd final this year is one of the River Yare great anglers.

Steve Knidleysides.

His 6lb 9oz weight took the final zone, something no one thought could happen on such a normally prolific river.
