In Form Craig Nichols Takes The Honours At The Annual River Yare Rivermasters Big Money Match 21st August

With a top prize of £1000 anglers from all over the country gathered at the White Horse, Chedgrave for the draw for the annual Rivermasters big money match.

The river was again running clear with roach the target species for most of the field.

In form Craig Nichols took the top prize winning his third match in a row on the river.

Craig drew peg 97 to weigh 20lbs 10oz of mainly roach to take top spot picking up the top prize of £1000.

Another in form angler Steve Clark fished hemp and tares for roach on peg 62 for second place with 17lbs 15oz picking up £400.

Billy Hughes gained third place with 13lbs 15oz of roach from peg 92 picking up £350.

London based Andy Meade fished peg 162 for fourth place with another 13lbs 2oz bag of roach to pick up £300

Just seven ounces behind Andy was local angler Kevin Paynter with 12lbs 11oz from peg 95 picking up £250
