Craig (Scrappy) Nichols wins Round 9 of the NISA Feeders King of the Yare Series & Open Match 20th August

The river was in a different mood compared to the previous days during the Festival with a clear river and the roach feeding better than the skimmers.

Craig Nichols topped the standings on peg 140 with 15lbs 10oz of Bolo caught roach.

King of the Yare sponsor Nick Larkin secured second place from peg 159 with a mixed bag of roach and skimmers weighing 14lbs 11oz jus nine ounces ahead of third placed Steve Dunn with 14lbs 2oz from peg 96.

Rodney Finch fish both feeder and pole for a mixed bag on peg 146 for fourth with 13lbs 9oz. League leader Steve Clark netted 12lbs 1oz of roach from peg 120 for fifth wit Ian Holmes taking the final place in the frame with 1lbs from peg 98.
