The River followed the same form as the day before with silverfish bites at a minimum. Weights were well below the standard that this river can throw up. However although low the weights were very close across the board.

England International and Browning Hotrod, Andrew Moss fished an excellent match catching odd fish and eels from different lines throughout the five hours for a prestigious win of this popular competition weighing in 8lbs 9oz from peg 65 on the Boards.

Runner up was Cresta Peterborough angler Andy Wilding weighing 7lbs 12oz just beating martin Ward with 7lbs 10oz for third from peg 135, only one ounce behind Martin in fourth place peg 164 was England Feeder International Will Freeman with 7lbs 9oz. The final place in the frame was taken by Kevin Humphrey with 7lbs 4oz.
